Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 4:30PM, Alternating Saturday's 8AM - 12PM

Location: 1800

E. Main St. Rochester, NY 14609

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in delivering outstanding service to customers at the counter, supporting outside sales, and managing assigned accounts. This role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to learn product knowledge and software tools used within the industry.

Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide counter sales support and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage house accounts, including job bidding and new account setup.
  • Support outside sales representatives with order entry, quoting, and job bidding.
  • Maintain and grow assigned customer accounts through proactive relationship building.
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Provide inventory feedback to Operations and Branch Management.
  • Assist in training counter personnel, especially on product knowledge.
  • Participate in planning and execution of training events and counter days.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch operations.
Qualifications
  • Prior inside sales, counter sales, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to learn and utilize industry software.
  • Team-oriented with a commitment to excellent service.
