We are seeking a motivated Field Sales Engineer to manage and grow our presence across upstate New York and parts of Northern Pennsylvania. This role combines technical expertise with relationship-driven sales, supporting customers throughout the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification through after-sales support.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, pursue, and develop new sales opportunities within the assigned territory
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and manufacturers
- Present and promote a diverse portfolio anputer mated products and solutions
- Coordinate technical requirements between customers and manufacturers
- Manage sales cycles, including forecasting and opportunity tracking
- vaka ongoing customer support to ensure long-term satisfaction and success
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory to meet customers and prospects
- Strong technical background with familiarity in one or more of the following:
- Test and measurement instruments
- Embedded systems
- RF/microwave (RF/mW) equipment
- Sensors and data acquisition systems
- Experience in technical sales, field applications, or B2B client relationship management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred
- Prior technical or industrial sales experience is a plus
- Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
- Represent respected, industry-leading manufacturers
- Autonomy and ownership of your territory
