We anticipate 2026 to be a year of significant growth and transformation, as we enter a new and exciting chapter in our journey. To meet these demands, we are adding an experienced Sales Director to our team. The Director of Sales develops and executes new and strategic sales plans, designed to meet annual revenue targets for RES. New business development in new verticals is critical to the success for the Sales Director.
The ideal Director of Sales for RES will have industry experience walking the tradeshow floor building and cultivating relationships and identifying new opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
- Sales Development
- Identify new opportunities within assigned business segment and/or regional territory.
- Develops lasting relationships with new customers to maximize revenue for the company.
- Provide consultative services to prospective clients identifying and developing custom solutions to satisfy client needs.
- Coordinate and leverage company resources effectively throughout the sales process.
- Deliver presentations to clients, showcasing RES’s capabilities, designs, and services.
- Demonstrate capabilities and effective knowledge of RES products and services.
- Drive the sales process from new prospect through the funnel to a signed contract.
- Meet with clients on a regular basis and attend client events and shows to maintain relationships.
- Communication
- Collaborate with Client Services team in identification of incremental sales opportunities.
- Maintain all status updates within Sales Force, for all clients in portfolio.
- Work with Marketing to identify Sales Force campaign opportunities.
- Creates and maintains all sales material, presentations and reporting.
- Reporting to the VP Sales, identify new prospects and industries that fit the profile of the ideal RES client.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or communications preferred. Master’s in business a plus.
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales or business development.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the tradeshow or event services industry.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $90,000 plus commission annually. Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience, job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Pay ranges included in postings generally reflect base salary; certain positions may include bonus, commission, or additional benefits.
