The Commercial Energy Sales Representative plays a key role in advancing NOCO’s purpose—helping businesses optimize energy, reduce costs, and improve sustainability. This role promotes and sells NOCO’s full suite of commercial energy offerings.
What You Will Do- Prospect and develop new commercial accounts through networking, referrals, industry events, and direct outreach.
- Serve as a trusted energy advisor, analyzing usage and presenting cost‑saving solutions.
- Develop customized energy strategies aligned with each client’s goals and risk tolerance.
- Educate customers on energy‑saving technologies, utility programs, and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate across business units to integrate solutions, ensuring a unified customer experience.
- Meet and exceed sales goals, managing pipeline and forecast discipline.
- Use CRM tools to manage leads, track progress, and ensure exceptional follow‑up.
- Stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and new energy technologies.
- Represent NOCO at local and regional events, trade shows, and professional associations.
- Build long‑term relationships by consistently delivering value and results.
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial sales; energy experience a plus.
- Proven success building strong client relationships and delivering consultative solutions.
- Strong business & financial acumen; ability to analyze data and present data‑driven recommendations.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills engaging decision‑makers at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms; strong organizational follow‑up.
- Self‑motivated and results‑driven, demonstrating initiative and accountability.
- Willingness to travel regionally for client meetings and industry events.
