Major Account Executive – Hospitality, Spectrum Business
Join Spectrum to build your career in hospitality technology solutions. In this role, you will partner with hospitality organizations to simplify their technology needs and position Spectrum Business as the provider of choice for networking and managed services.
Base Pay Range: $47,800.00/yr – $79,100.00/yr
Commission earnings target starting at $105,000
.
Required qualifications include five or more years of B2B sales, a high school diploma, and technical knowledge of LAN/WAN/cloud services. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor’s degree and familiarity with Spectrum Business product suite.
This role requires the ability to work lawfully in the U.S. without employment-based immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities- Complete the 10‑week paid sales training that won a Brandon Hall Group gold award.
- Consult with clients and grow key relationships within named accounts.
- Develop proposals and facilitate presentations to present client recommendations.
- Conceptualize and implement sales plans to capture new sales and upsell to existing clients.
- Operate field‑based sales: mostly out in front of clients, traveling as needed.
- Build a network through referrals, prospecting calls, trade shows, and peers to generate leads.
- Qualify new leads and request site surveys to determine building serviceability.
- Five or more years of B2B sales experience selling data, voice, cloud or video solutions; proven record meeting a $5 K monthly goal in a vertical or working in embedded accounts; experience in hospitality industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Understanding of LAN, WAN, cloud services and high‑capacity and fiber connected networks.
- Networking building, negotiation, closing and English communication skills.
- Quick learner who can apply knowledge in a team environment.
- Availability to travel to assigned territories and company facilities; valid driver’s license.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of Spectrum Business product suite.
- Familiarity with ICOMS, CSG or Salesforce.
