Dollar Tree Stores invites you to join our team as a Merchandising Assistant Manager. In this role you will work closely with the Store Manager to lead a dynamic associate team, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and focus on effective merchandising and freight processing.

• Assist with all store functions and day‑to‑day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey information requests, and other store communications.
• Maintain store cleanliness: bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall presentation.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
• Assist with merchandise receipt, return of DSD merchandise, load/unload freight, plan and maintain sales floor, and execute monthly sales planners.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to lift 30‑50 lbs and meet physical demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, with or without reasonable accommodation.
