Interventional Radiology nurses (RN) provide critical nursing care to the cardiac patient while assisting the Interventional Radiologist, Vascular Surgeon, and Endovascular Neurosurgeon in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to the patient and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medication, including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post‑procedure monitoring.
