Job Description
TITLE
RNFA - Operating Room

SCHEDULE
36 or 48 hours per week
Monday - Friday, day shifts
On-call responsibilities until 11 PM
No weekends or holidays required

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
Contract Length: 13 weeks

REQUIREMENTS
- RN License (New York License ONLY)
- CNOR Certification
- Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant course
- Two (2) years of experience in OR, preferably in a level 1 trauma center
- BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - preferred
- Robotic surgery experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Robotic Urology
- Robotic GYN
- Robotic Colorectal
- Robotic Surgical Oncology
- Robotic Thoracic
- Robotic General Surgery

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with surgeons and the healthcare team to ensure safe operations and optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform nursing duties in the operating room, including scrubbing and circulating as needed.
- Assist in the operative phase of the perioperative experience under the direction of the surgeon.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of perioperative nursing practices.
- Ensure preparedness of the surgical environment for robotic and other surgical procedures.
- Practice in compliance with established protocols and standards of care.

- Evening call and rotating holiday requirements apply.
