Join Rochester Regional Health as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Inpatient Pediatric unit, a 12‑bed medical unit providing family‑centered, consistent care for patients aged 0–21. The role requires patient‑centered, high‑quality clinical care in a day/evening/night schedule.

Location: Rochester General Hospital
Hours Per Week: 36
Schedule: Day/Evening/Night
Sign‑On Bonus: Up to $15,000
Pay Range: $38.67 – $51.92 per hour
Responsibilities- Provides high‑quality, patient‑centered clinical care.
- Performs initial and ongoing assessment of patients, using appropriate data for chronological/developmental age.
- Communicates and documents assessments with the interdisciplinary team, utilizing available resources to meet patient and family needs.
- Develops and documents individualized plan of care, treatment, and services.
- Complies with organizational policies, procedures, and protocols including safety, medication administration, and documentation.
- Revises plan of care based on ongoing evaluations and updates documentation accordingly.
- Completes at least one clinical research utilization (CRU) form annually.
- Completes a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) per year.
- Completes mandatory in‑services and health screens in a timely manner.
- Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- At least 6 months RN experience preferred.
AS:
Nursing (Required)
BLS – Basic Life Support, American Heart Association (AHA); RN – Registered Nurse, New York State Education Department (NYSED).
Physical RequirementsMedium Physical Effort:
May require exerting 20–50 lbs occasionally and 10–25 lbs frequently; frequent walking, standing, or squatting. Accommodation will be considered.
