Schedule

• Shift: Nights

• Hours: 4 × 12s (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

• Block Scheduling: ❌ Not guaranteed

• Call: None required

• Call-off Policy: Up to 3 shifts can be canceled over 13 weeks

Floating

• Required: Yes

• Where: ICU and/or Med-Surg (within skillset)

• Active New York RN License (NY is not compact — no pending licenses accepted)

• Minimum RN Experience: 1 year

• PCU / Stepdown Experience: Required

• Charge Experience: Preferred (not mandatory)

• Telemetry Experience: Required

• Patient Ratios Experienced With: 1:4–1:5

• Charting System: EPIC experience REQUIRED

Cardiac / Telemetry

• Continuous cardiac monitoring

• Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias

• Use of Rapid Response & Code Teams

• Managing cardiac drips (no titration)

IV & Med Administration

• IV therapy & phlebotomy

• Blood product administration

• Central line care/management

• Peripheral IV care/management

Respiratory

• Nasal cannula

• Oxygen administration

• Non-invasive airway management

Safety & Professional Practice

• Isolation precautions

• PPE use

• 528-bed acute care teaching hospital

• Magnet-recognized

• Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center
