This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour shift - 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

The Adult Cardiac OR cares for a wide variety of patients including CABGs, TAVIs, and Heart Failure treatments (VADs, ECMO, Artificial Heart, and Heart Transplants). Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, the OR staff provides care for patients of all ages.

• Provide high-quality patient care in a cardiac operating room setting.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
• Scrub and circulate during surgical procedures as necessary.
• Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies effectively.

• BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
• Two (2) years of experience as an operating room nurse is required.
• Experience in a level 1 trauma center is preferred.
• Able to scrub and circulate effectively during surgical procedures.
