MS/Tele Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift Location

New York

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day 3x12-Hour Shift (07:00 - 19:00)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care for patients diagnosed with cardiac and stroke conditions. The Registered Nurse will work in a dynamic environment with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 5:1 during the day and 6:1 at night, with potential stretches during high-demand periods. Ideal candidates will have experience in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias as well as providing essential supportive care.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including vital signs and EKG readings.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including phlebotomy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
• Perform care related to peripheral line management and non-invasive airway management.
• Float between Medical/Surgical, Intensive Care Units, and Emergency Department as needed.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting.
• Current BLS certification required.
• NIHSS certification preferred.
• Active New York RN license required prior to submission.
• Proficient experience with Epic charting system is a must.
