Job Summary
Provides professional nursing services for patients and their families and/or for the nursing department. Collaborates with other health‑care providers and team members to achieve expected patient outcomes and improve the care environment. Nurses use the nursing process and evidence‑based practice to coordinate and provide direct care and services that support care.

Assumes expanded unit roles as assigned by the Nurse Manager, such as charge nurse or preceptor.
Supports peers in the delivery of patient care, uses appropriate team communication methods, and practices care that reflects patient conditions and priorities.
Provides support to team problem‑solving, identifies opportunities for self‑growth, and contributes to the development of other learners.
Contributes to a safe unit environment and operations.
Level II Registered Nurse (RN)The Level II RN, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent patient care based on established standards and the nursing process. The Level II nurse may assume expanded unit roles as available and assigned by the Nurse Manager.
CompensationPAY RANGE: $38.76–$50.33 per hour.

- Minimum 6 months RN expertise in an acute‑care setting. BS in Nursing preferred. Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers preferred).
