Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oncology nursing, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to providing compassionate and personalized patient care.

Qualifications
  • Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Oncology nursing
  • Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (preferred)
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying changes and implementing appropriate interventions
  • Administer chemotherapy and other prescribed treatments as per oncologist's orders
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on advancements in oncology nursing
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
