LVN​/LPN Medical Surgical

Job Summary:
? Provide nursing care for patients in a medical-surgical unit
? Monitor patient conditions and assist with treatments and procedures
? Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:
? Assess and record patient vital signs and symptoms
? Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
? Assist with wound care, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures
? Document patient care and update medical records accurately
? Monitor patient progress and report changes to the nursing team and physicians
? Maintain a safe and clean environment in compliance with hospital policies
? Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management

Required Qualifications:
? Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of practice
? Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
? Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
? Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
? Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting
? Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Certifications:
? Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
