Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
*** Responsibilities:
** NP or PAPrimary responsibility of providing Interventional Radiology clinical coverage at SMH and possible Highland Hospital intermittently.  Under the general direction of the Attending Interventional Radiologist, the APP will provide E&M services to include consultations and follow-up.  This will entail obtaining medical history, physical examination, ordering appropriate testing, obtaining consent, patient education, telemedicine services. The APP will participate in the education of learners (students and new employees) using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing and skill training.

Current PA/NP certification/licensure (or eligible), BLS/ACLS certification are required.  An Radiology Technologist license is not required but is a plus.
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE    - Completion of an AMA approved Physician’s Assistant Program required  - Or equivalent combination of education and experience  - Previous experience in a health care setting preferred    KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Clinical competence from very acute, chronic and well patients required    LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS    - PA - Physician Assistant upon hire required
