Registered Nurse – General Medicine Unit (New Grads Welcome)
West 6 is a General Medicine Unit looking to add friendly, compassionate, and hardworking individuals to their team. As an RN, you will provide professional nursing services for patients and their families and/or within the nursing department. You will collaborate with other health care providers and team members to achieve expected patient outcomes and improve the care environment. Nurses use the nursing process and evidence‑based practice to coordinate and provide direct care and services that support quality care.

Level I RN: A new graduate with an Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing who is completing the Nursing Practice Orientation Program, with six months of clinical experience or less post‑licensure. Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Level I RN is accountable for provision of direct care to assigned patients, supporting peer delivery of care, prioritizing safety, team collaboration, and communication.
After the six‑month evaluation, successful candidates are advanced to Level II RN.
- $38,000–$41,000 (minimum and maximum compensation for this position).
- BS in Nursing preferred.
- Licensed by New York State to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare providers).
