Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float position requiring an active NY RN license, BLS certification, and Epic experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital Med/Surg Telemetry float unit
- Float to various MS/Tele units as assigned
- Day shifts with 3x12 hour schedule (7:00am to 7:00pm), with the option to request 4x12s for approval
- Electronic charting is done using Epic
- Floating is required throughout assignment
- First time travelers are welcome to apply
- Team members will be required to float to cover needs across MS/Tele units
- Three call-off shifts allowed per 13-week assignment, with on-call shifts in lieu of call-offs counting toward this limit
- Active NY RN license in hand at time of application
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent MS/Tele RN experience
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Must live more than 75 miles from the facility
