Position: LVN / LPN
Job Summary:

This role is for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) who will provide nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include data collection, carrying out orders, and performing therapeutic procedures appropriate for the patient's age and condition, adhering to established policies and procedures. The position requires the ability to manage own patient assignments with RN support and involves working night shifts with an every-other-weekend commitment.

Responsibilities:

- Gather and report patient data.
- Implement physician orders and nursing care plans.
- Perform therapeutic procedures on patients.
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN.
- Document patient care and related duties.
- Manage own patient assignment with the support of an RN.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Current LPN/LVN license in the state of New York.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- Experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.

Special Considerations:

- Every other weekend requirement.
- Must be able to wear any combination of navy and white scrub colors.

Scheduling:
- 3x12 hour shifts.
- Night shifts.
