• Assess patient and family needs through active listening and observation to develop individualized care plans and collaborate with healthcare teams.

• Promote patient safety and health by advocating for their needs and ensuring high-quality, compassionate care.

• Educate patients and families on self-care practices, lifestyle changes, and post-hospitalization needs to promote health and healing.

• Administer medications and provide interventions according to care plans, while documenting patient progress and responses.

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in New York (or eligibility to obtain).

• Medical/Surgical experience required.

• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required.
