Position: LVN / LPN
Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include data collection, implementing orders, and performing therapeutic procedures appropriate for the patient's age and condition, following established policies and procedures.

Location:

Rochester, New York, United States

Responsibilities:

- Gather and report patient data.
- Implement physician orders and nursing care plans.
- Perform therapeutic procedures on patients.
- Provide appropriate nursing care as directed by an RN.
- Document patient care and related duties appropriately.
- Take patient assignment.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Current LPN/LVN license in the state of New York.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- Experience in emergency or critical care environments.
- Comfort level working with vents/trachs/PICC lines.
- Two years of experience in direct patient care.

Special Considerations:

- Must be able to take own patient assignment, with the support of an RN.
- Every other weekend work is required.

Scheduling:
- 4x12 hour night shifts.
