DESCRIPTION:
Travel Registered Nurse – MICU (Medical ICU)Location: Rochester, New York
Shift: 3x12 Nights
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE NEW YORK RN LICENSE IN HAND – NO EXCEPTIONS
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill MICU patients
- Monitor and manage ventilators, drips, and complex medical equipment
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to rapid changes in condition
- Accurately document patient care using EPIC
- Collaborate with physicians and ICU care teams to develop and implement care plans
Requirements
- Active New York RN License (must be in hand at submission)
- MICU experience required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
