- Lead and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and administrative staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Adult Emergency Department.
- Develop and sustain an environment that supports excellence in clinical practice, patient safety, and professional growth.
- Oversee operational, budgetary, and personnel activities, including staffing, recruitment, and resource allocation.
- Implement nursing policies and standards to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
- Participate in quality initiatives, utilizing data analysis and outcome measures to drive performance improvement.
- Mentor and develop nursing staff, supporting professional development and engagement in research programs.
- Foster strong relationships with hospital leadership and external partners to promote optimal care for patients and the community.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for efficient documentation and streamlined patient care.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects;
Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
