Container Maintenance

Safely and effectively performs general labor for reconditioning equipment used in the field and various duties around the facility.

• $25.75 per hour

• Clean/wash work area, machines, containers, trailers, vehicles and/or equipment
• Paint equipment or buildings, as necessary
• Use power washer to clean equipment
• Use chemicals with proper PPE provided
• Assist with container maintenance, pick-up and delivery (as needed)
• Interact with others in a professional and ethical manner
• Follow department and company procedures
• Keep up regular attendance and punctuality; these are essential for the smooth operation of this company
• Other duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective operation of the business; responsibilities may change as business needs evolve over time

• Skill to operate, control, and monitor equipment
• Ability to work overtime and alternate schedule as needed
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Local travel requirements; less than 5% overnight travel

Constantly (over 2/3):

• Operates and uses maintenance/mechanic tools, including electrical hand tools
• Must be able to position self to maintain equipment or perform duties of repair work equipment
• Must be able to detect and observe equipment in need of repair

Frequently (1/3 - 2/3):

• Communicates with staff in the process of repairing equipment
• Move and transport material, equipment and tools up to 70 lbs. with or without specialized lifting, moving and rigging equipment
• Moves across wet/slippery and uneven surfaces

Occasionally (under 1/3):

• Exposed to work in outdoor weather conditions
• Remains in a seated position while using multi-limbed coordination to operate equipment
