Job Summary
The Junior Batch Maker prepares and processes product batches in accordance with approved formulas, quality standards, and regulatory requirements under the guidance of the PDQA Director and Batch Maker. This role focuses on accurate execution of established procedures, careful documentation, and adherence to quality and safety standards while developing the technical knowledge and judgment necessary to perform batching operations independently.

- Prepare and process product batches in accordance with approved formulas, production instructions, and operational standards under the guidance of the PDQA Director and Batch Maker.
- Accurately measure, weigh, mix, and blend raw materials to produce products that meet established specifications.
- Conduct required batch testing (including BRIX, pH, and other quality measures) and report results; implement adjustments as directed and elevate deviations to the Batch Maker or PDQA Director.
- Complete batch documentation accurately and support review processes to ensure integrity and traceability.
- Develop working knowledge of Company products, formulas, quality standards, and batching procedures.
- Assist the Batch Maker with inventory checks, staging of raw materials, and preparation for batching operations.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality Assurance personnel to support efficient workflow and clear communication of batch status.
- Communicate material needs, operational concerns, or deviations promptly to appropriate personnel.
- Ensure adherence to GMP, food safety, allergen, sanitation, and regulatory requirements within batching operations.
- Verify raw materials are available and properly staged prior to use and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe batching environment in accordance with Company standards.
In addition to the essential functions listed above, the Junior Batch Maker may be asked to perform other duties as assigned. Fee Brothers’ team‑oriented environment requires flexibility and adaptability to meet changing demands and expectations.
Education & Experience- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of related work experience, training, and/or education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.
- 1–2 years of experience in food, beverage, or related manufacturing operations preferred.
- Familiarity with basic quality measurements (e.g., BRIX, pH) and GMP or food safety standards preferred.
- Forklift certification required or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Batching & Manufacturing Fundamentals:
Basic understanding of batching or manufacturing processes within food, beverage, or related production environments. - Formula & Procedure Adherence:
