Packaging Equipment Operator – 12 Hour Teams
Join our team and take advantage of exciting opportunities with our 12-hour overnight positions! We’re currently staffing both weekday overnights and weekend overnights, offering increased earnings to reward your commitment. Weekday nights come with a 15% shift differential. Weekend nights offer an attractive 25% shift differential.

Job SummaryThe Packaging Associate I is responsible for assisting in the packaging of pharmaceutical components and products by supporting the setup, operation, and cleaning of equipment under close supervision. The role focuses on learning and performing routine packaging processes in compliance with cGMP, SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This position participates in day‑to‑day operational activities and supports production documentation efforts. Works under guidance from experienced team members and supports departmental improvement initiatives.
EssentialFunctions / Responsibilities Room & Process Ready for Production Run
- Review production schedule and SOPs with supervision to understand daily tasks.
- Assist in staging supplies and materials needed for packaging runs.
- Deliver and distribute supplies to the production area.
- Operate basic packaging equipment under guidance to ensure proper function.
- Record basic process parameters and data as instructed.
- Complete forms and logs with close attention to accuracy and compliance.
- Report equipment malfunctions and assist with basic troubleshooting.
- Participate in team meetings and provide input on routine improvements.
- Perform cleaning of portable equipment and small parts according to instructions.
- Assist with routine maintenance tasks and ensure equipment readiness for next shift.
- Support accurate completion of documentation before shift end.
- Communicate handoff details to incoming shift members.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Report unsafe conditions and actively participate in safety culture.
- Comply with site security and environmental policies.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 0–1 year of experience in a GMP, packaging, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to learn equipment operation, documentation, and procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production tools.
- Basic math and measurement conversions.
- Must be able to understand, follow, and communicate verbal and written instructions in English to ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and standard operating procedures, including accurate following of Good Manufacturing Practice documentation and participating in required training conducted in English.
- Willingness to learn and grow within a regulated environment.
18.00 – 20.00 USD /hour
The referenced compensation range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
