Howmet Engine Systems has an immediate opening for an Outside Machining Coordinator (OSM) to assist in the manufacturing process at our facility in Rochester, NY.

This position is eligible for $1000 sign-on bonus.

Summary

Work in a fast-paced manufacturing company managing throughput with vendors, creating purchase orders and communicating with team members.

• Manage vendor capacity and throughput
• Coordinate outside machining and NDT placement between supplier base
• Expedite and report daily to team members the status of outside services
• Primary point for cutting purchase orders to designated machine shops
• Act as a backup for purchase order entry when needed to help with coverage during vacations, etc...

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of experience
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree from an accredited institution
• 2 years of experience

Salary Range: $50,000 to $65,000 depending on experience
