Job Description
The role involves inspecting fresh or processed products on conveyor systems or roller tracks, placing products on processing and packaging conveyor systems, and lifting or moving trays off and onto carts. You will also be responsible for tray loading products onto trays, assisting in moving racks or carts of products, packing packaged products into cardboard boxes, labeling and sealing product cases or cartons, and cleaning and setting up processing and packaging operations.
Responsibilities- Inspect fresh or processed products on conveyor systems or roller tracks.
- Place products on processing and packaging conveyor systems.
- Lift and move trays off and onto carts.
- Load products onto trays.
- Assist in moving racks or carts of products.
- Pack packaged products into cardboard boxes.
- Label and seal product cases and cartons.
- Clean and set up processing and packaging operations.
- Experience in production, general labor, and machine operation.
- Ability to operate processing machinery, including setup and teardown.
- Proficiency in product processing room cleaning and sanitizing.
- Ensure process and product quality is maintained.
- Effective communication with team members, other shifts, supervisors, and maintenance.

Work EnvironmentThe work environment frequently exposes employees to extreme temperatures and can be loud. You may be exposed to various food allergens. The role requires regular standing, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, carrying, lifting, and twisting. You must be able to regularly lift 15 pounds and up to 50 pounds.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Rochester, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
