CNC Grinder - OD​/Surface; 1st and 2nd Shifts

Salary Range: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour

Brinkman Products, Inc. is an industrial goods manufacturing company encompassing two lines of business;
Davenport Machine and CJWinter. Both manufacture proprietary product lines which include Davenport multi-spindle screw machines, thread rolling attachments, thread rolls, and tooling.

We are seeking an experienced CNC Grinder to set up and operate OD, , and Surface grinding machines to produce precision components to tight tolerances and superior surface finishes. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, quality-focused, and capable of working independently.

• Set up and operate CNC OD, , and Surface grinders
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
• Select, mount, and dress grinding wheels
• Make machine offsets and adjustments to maintain tolerances
• Inspect parts using micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and comparators
• Achieve required surface finish and dimensional accuracy
• Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Maintain clean and safe work area
• Work with quality and engineering to resolve issues

• 3+ years CNC grinding experience (OD//or Surface)
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills
• Experience holding tight tolerances and fine finishes
• Knowledge of wheel selection, dressing, feeds, and speeds
• Ability to work independently and meet production schedules

• Experience with grinders such as Studer, Okamoto, Toyoda, Kellenberger, Jones & Shipman, or similar
• Programming experience or conversational controls a plus
• Aerospace, medical, or automotive experience
