Role Description
Bausch + Lomb is seeking a Manager for Extended Producer Responsibility to join its team in a full-time, on-site capacity in Rochester, NY. The role involves the development, implementation, and management of sustainable product stewardship programs and compliance with extended producer responsibility regulations. The successful candidate will oversee compliance reporting, collaborate across departments, engage with external stakeholders, and provide strategic initiatives to support sustainability and improve environmental performance.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), environmental compliance regulations, and sustainable waste management programs.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, including stakeholder engagement, report writing, and presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in data analysis and regulatory compliance reporting.
- Experience in collaboration with government agencies, industry associations, and third-party organizations related to EPR compliance.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite or project management tools.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Sustainability, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in environmental compliance, sustainability, or related roles. Experience in the healthcare or manufacturing industry is advantageous.
