Operations Manager

The Opportunity

We are partnering exclusively with a well-established, growth-oriented organization to identify an Operations Manager who will play a highly visible role within a complex, global operating environment. This individual will oversee end-to-end operational execution, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficiency, reliability, and on‑time delivery.

Reporting directly to a Divisional Vice President, this role offers the opportunity to lead people, optimize processes, and influence outcomes across a fast‑paced, operationally intensive business.

• Opportunity to oversee end‑to‑end operations, including production planning, vendor coordination, and logistics.
• Leadership responsibility over a growing, collaborative operations team.
• Exposure to domestic and international operations in a complex supply chain environment.
• Ability to drive process improvement, scalability, and operational excellence during continued growth.

• Own and manage operational execution to support customer commitments and service levels.
• Oversee production planning and coordination with external manufacturing partners.
• Manage purchase orders, contracts, approvals, and operational documentation.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments, including inventory locations, ETAs, and compliance requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely import/export documentation and shipment visibility.
• Serve as a key liaison across internal functions (operations, sales support, R&D) and external vendors.
• Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and implement solutions to prevent delays.
• Support audits, customer engagements, and industry‑related events as needed.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3–6 Operations Coordinators.
• Establish team goals, KPIs, and performance expectations aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Resolve cross‑functional challenges and operational bottlenecks impacting timelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an operations management role within a complex operating environment.
• Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong understanding of domestic transportation processes, freight terms, and shipment documentation.
• Working knowledge of international trade procedures, including INCOTERMS, customs clearance, and tariff classifications.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and Bills of Material.
