Accounting Manager

$55,000 - $80,000 Salary + discretionary profit sharing

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to lead the financial operations of a high-volume automotive collision and mechanical service business. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity, supporting operational decision-making, and driving long-term profitability.

The Accounting Manager partners closely with leadership to provide insight, discipline, and structure across accounting, cash flow, job costing, and performance reporting.

• Own all accounting functions including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
• Lead timely and accurate month-end close and financial reporting
• Monitor cash flow, AR aging, and liquidity forecasts
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and operational financial models
• Analyze job costing and margins for collision and mechanical work
• Track and report KPIs related to labor efficiency, COGS, and overhead
• Ensure GAAP compliance and support audits, banking, and tax reviews
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and controls

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of accounting or controller-level experience
• Experience in automotive, collision repair, or service industries preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial controls, and reporting
• Proficiency in accounting software (Quick Books preferred) and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and confident working cross-functionally
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate numbers into clear business insights
