Part Time Sample Prep Technician – Rochester-Spencerport NY

Location:

Rochester, NY – new facility opening October 2025.
Compensation: $18.00 hourly (non‑exempt, part‑time).

• Prepare plasma units for frozen storage.
• Collect and store plasma samples for testing.
• Maintain and monitor freezer and refrigerator temperatures, remove ice buildup.
• Prepare frozen plasma units and samples for shipping following protocol.
• Organize plasma boxes/documents for scheduled shipments, assist loading shipments.
• Manage supplies, assist inventory control procedures, break down empty cartons and dispose properly.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (essential); desired experience in regulated laboratory or hospital environment.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, maintain complete records.
• Multi‑task, team player, strong verbal communication, customer service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, lift up to 26 lbs regularly, occasional up to 32–50 lbs; work in cold environment

  -40 C, glove wear 90% of tasks.
