Corporate Associate Attorney

Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually + Bonus, (1700 Annual Billables)

Bar Admission: NY Required

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions / Private Equity Attorney with 5-10+ years of experience to join their dynamic corporate practice group in NY. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a prestigious firm and represent sophisticated corporate clients and private equity funds on a wide range of complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise corporate clients and private equity sponsors in connection with mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of transaction-related documents.
• Provide general corporate counsel and support ongoing governance matters.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and maintain direct client interaction.

Qualifications:

• 5–10+ years of experience practicing corporate law with a strong emphasis on M&A and private equity transactions.
• Deep understanding of corporate and transactional law, as well as current market practices and trends.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with substantial experience in preparing core transaction documents.
• Prior experience at a nationally recognized law firm is preferred.
• Annual base salary range: $180,000 to $220,000 (DOE)
