Attorney

Our client, a well-established and highly respected Northeast regional law firm, is looking for a Restructuring, Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Right Associate in the following offices: Albany, buffalo, New Haven, New York City, Rochester, or Syracuse.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York State or Connecticut
• A J.D. Degree from an accredited law school
• Minimum four years of experience in complex bankruptcy matters and/or judicial clerkship experience
• Experience representing debtors, landlords, financial institutions, buyers/sellers, litigation targets, and/or other parties in interest in out-of-court restructuring matters and Chapters 11 and 15 and other cases
• Strong verbal, written, advocacy, and interpersonal skills

Salary range: $125,000 - $165,000

This salary range represents the firm’s good-faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for the position and does not include performance- or merit-based bonuses or other benefits offered by the firm. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set, and office location.
