As a Room Service Server
, you will take orders and serve meals to guests in their rooms while providing exceptional guest service.

• Perform opening and closing sidework per checklists.
• Answer phone in accordance with proper telephone standards to take room service orders and relay orders to kitchen.
• Deliver all food items, beverages and necessary accompaniments to guest rooms.
• Properly record all sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
• Answer questions regarding room service and respond to requests for additional food or drink service.
• Collect room service trays from halls outside of guest rooms and bring to kitchen.
• Familiarize and be knowledgeable of current food and beverage offerings.
• Deliver VIP gifts, guest amenities and package items to guest rooms as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Room Service station and surrounding areas.
• Provide information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel to guests.

We are looking for a self-motivated Room Service Server with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to establish rapport with guests and colleagues.

• 1 to 3 months related experience;
  High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
