Position: Overnight Floor Houseperson & Shuttle Driver (FT)
Location: City of Rochester

Description

$250 SIGNING BONUS (after 90-days).

Full-Time. Overnights Required.

The Courtyard by Marriott - Rochester Downtown
, managed by Essex Hotel Management, is currently seeking a DRIVEN Houseperson.

As a Houseperson, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel's public areas and guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. You will work closely with our housekeeping team to ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including hallways, lobbies, and elevators
  • Assist housekeeping staff with cleaning and maintaining guest rooms
  • Deliver linens, towels, and other supplies to guest rooms as needed
  • Remove trash and dirty linens from guest rooms
  • Respond to guest requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
