Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg Telemetry

Ratios:
Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8
-10 if staff calls in)

• We have PCT’s on all units that do vital signs, blood glucose checks, EKG’s and any sort of activity of daily living

• We have an in-house phlebotomy team that does all peripheral lab draws nursing is responsible for PICC lines and central lines

Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response Teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions
Patient Diagnosis:
Acute respiratory failure, CHF, COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, sepsis
Special Equipment: BIPAP, CPAP, High Flow, Ventilators, trach, chest tubes
