Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program:
Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

Lab Completion:
All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience, MS/Tele, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, Ortho trauma, Total joint replacement, Surgical drains, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Tracheostomy care/management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State

Unit/Facility Details: Ratio: 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for Med Surg

Shift & Scheduling: Day/Night Rotation /, Every other weekend

Floating Requirements: To Med Surg

7 days maximum time off

2 references from last 2 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
