Medical Surgical Unit - Licensed Vocational Nurse​/Licensed Practical Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program:
Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

Lab Completion:
All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Start/maintaining IVs, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Trach care/management, Feeding tube care/management, Heparin Protocols, Pacemakers/Temp/Perm, Telemetry-on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac, MS/Tele, Ortho trauma, Total Joint Replacements, Surgical drains

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State

Shift & Scheduling:

• Shift hours/Contract Length: 7p-7a/7a-7p
• Holiday Requirement:
  Must be available to work every xrlwcon other holiday, if needed
• Weekend Requirement:
  Every Other Weekend

7 days maximum time off
