As a Behavioral Health Technician I, you anticipate needs, communicate effectively, and demonstrate compassion to support the successful treatment and rehabilitation of all patients.
Attributes- One (1) year of clinical experience in a patient‑care setting or related experience

- Patient Care – Provide direct care and clinical services to patients on an individual basis, including activities such as daily living, social and psychiatric rehabilitation as directed by the RN; communicate with patients effectively and ensure they have access to required services; inform RN of any patient changes.
- General Assistance – Perform general cleaning and upkeep in the department, including cleaning patient rooms and equipment; stock required supplies and check equipment in treatment rooms; assist with setup, procedures and evaluation.
- Documentation – Ensure concise, pertinent and complete documentation of patient responses to treatment.
- One (1) year of clinical experience in a patient‑care setting or related experience.
- Associate’s degree in Human Services or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred;
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology or Human Services preferred.
No specific degree requirement beyond those mentioned in Minimum Requirements.
Licenses / CertificationsNo license or certification required.
Physical RequirementsSedentary work – may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time; occasional exertion up to 10 pounds.
Pay Range$17.85 – $20.00 per hour.
