This is a MS/Tele unit with the possible care for ED holding patients

This is a 14 bed overflow unit for several months to accommodate our ED boarder patients. This will be a med/surg tele unit.

It will be a flex space inside our GI Endoscopy space so the number of patients may increase or decrease depending on demand/boarder numbers.

Emergency Department, MS/Tele, Blood Glucose Monitoring/Testing, Feeding tube care and management, Foley catheter insertion female, Foley catheter insertion male, Ear Drops, Eye Drops, IM & SQ, NG Tube/G Tube, Oral, Subcutaneous, Ambulation, Face masks, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Bathing: sitz, tub, bed, shower, Mouth care, Admission of Patient, Communication of patient status changes to RN/MD, Isolation Precautions, Vital Sign monitoring
