Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM

• Every other weekend schedule required

• Patient ratio of 1:5 with mixed/shared acuity levels

• Float to other units when census warrants

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

• New York nursing license required in hand to submit

• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement

• 16 hours of orientation provided

• Care for all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Dress code:
Any combination of navy and white scrubs

• Daily census of 64 patients with approximately 145 visits per day

• Work in 34-room emergency department with 71 total beds

• Required skills include general emergency department care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem organ dysfunction management, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, IV management, continuous IV paralytics and sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, CVA care, and isolation precautions

• Complete pre-start modules (up to 5 billable hours)

• Must live more than 75 miles from facility location
