Location: City of Rochester
Overview
Emergency Department - Registered Nurse - $2,987 per week — Trusted Health travel assignment. Trusted enables nurses to apply directly to jobs without recruiters for a more transparent experience.
Shift7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities- Provide care in a mixed acuity, emergency department setting.
- Coordinate patient care with ED team and maintain patient safety.
- 12 months of ED RN experience required, with some experience in the last 12 months.
- Must have at least 12 months of Emergency Department experience.
- Epic experience required (any duration).
- Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).
- Travel-only role; local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.
- Flu vaccination required after submission; religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (Provider/Instructor/RQI acceptable)
- NIHSS (Stroke Scale)
- Certifications:
ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, BLS
- Pre-employment modules may be required. Upload certifications or health documents to expedite onboarding.
- Unit details: ratios with mixed/shared acuity levels.
- Open to accommodating block schedule; RTO restrictions: minimal.
- Shifts:
Every other weekend; 4 shifts per week; 12-hour shifts.
- Auto-offer — no interview: time-off requests submitted at application; offers require a clear Yes/No within 24 hours.
- 7 days maximum time off; 2 references from last 2 years required; proof of identification required.
Job details:
Travel RN, 1 nurse per 5 patients, Night shift, Contract date: , Expected length: 13 weeks.
- Required Skills:
Emergency Department care for adults/pediatrics, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, multisystem dysfunction, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, starting IVs, IV paralytics/sedation, emergency medications, IV vasopressors, procedural sedation, CVA/isolation precautions. - Preferred
Skills:
Teaching Hospital experience.
- Neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics.
