Medical Surgical​/Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.

• Must have at least 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program:
Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System and no current placement allowed at Program:
Aya Program - Rochester Regional Health System.

Additional Details:

Lab Completion:
All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: MS/Tele, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, IV therapy/Phlebotomy, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions/PPE

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience, ER Holding

Required Credentials: Drivers License/State

Unit/Facility Details: This is a MS/Tele unit with the possible care for ED holding patients

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Coverage: EOW

This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted eduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
