Location: 10 Hagen Drive, Suite 200, Rochester, NY 14625

Hours Per Week: 36

Schedule: Nights, 3x12's; 6:30 pm to 7 am

As a Sleep Technologist, your knowledge, skills, and strong focus on patient care contribute to the completion of sleep tests within our Sleep Centers.

• Patient Care
  . Review patient histories; educate and orient patients on procedure; perform sleep studies; maintain for timely and proper service to patients; provide excellent patient service
• General Maintenance
  . Clean, restock, and prepare rooms on a daily basis
• Documentation
  . Assist with scoring portable monitoring recordings according to AASM scoring parameters; identify artifact, inadequate signals, and study failures and generate an accurate report

• Successful completion of an Associate’s degree in Polysomnography Technology or Respiratory Therapy, or a certificate program in Respiratory Therapy Technology
• Maintain current CPR or BLS certification
• NYS Authorization as a Polysomnographic Technologist, Respiratory Therapist, or Respiratory Therapy Technician
• Polysomnography Technicians:
  Must pass the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists exam and obtain the Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential within 2 years of initial NYS registration
• RT/RTTs:
  Must pass the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) Certified Respiratory Therapist examination (CRT) and the Registry Examination (RRT) and obtain credentials within 1 year of the initial NYS registration
• Employees hired prior to 2013 must obtain Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential no later than November 1, 2018
