Personal Care Aide Training Program
Pay Rate $16.23 per hour

Training session is March 9–18, Monday through Friday 8:00am–2:30pm.

Are you interested in becoming a Personal Care Aide?

We are pleased to announce that the Jewish Home has been approved by the NYS Department of Health to offer our own Personal Care Aide Training Program. This is an employer-paid training program that will prepare trainees with the knowledge and skills to work as a Personal Care Aide (PCA). Trainees are certified upon successfully completing classroom instruction, clinical skills demonstration, and knowledge testing.

You must be able to attend class training sessions March 9 through March 18 8:00am–2:30pm. Position requires a high school diploma or GED (High School Equivalency), and you must be at least 18 years of age. Driver’s License and reliable means of transportation for both training class and future PCA position preferred.

Upon completion, you will transition as a PCA with Jewish Home Licensed Home Care.
