Job Details:

• Work 3x12 night shifts with every other weekend requirement

• Must be available for some holidays

• Maintain 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for Medical Surgical unit

• Care for 26-bed unit serving primarily CHF patients, acute MI patients, post device care (pacemakers), and patients with arrhythmias

• Floating to other units is required

• Must have New York license in hand - no exceptions

• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement

• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Must live more than 75 miles from facility (locals not accepted)

• Perform cardiac monitoring and emergency response including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias

• Use Rapid Response/Code teams as needed

• Provide IV therapy and phlebotomy with peripheral line care and management

• Manage respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, and portable oxygen tanks

• Implement isolation precautions and wound care as needed

• Wear scrubs in any combination of navy and white colors

• Complete pre-start modules (up to 10 hours total)
