Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, BLS and ARRT (R)(N) or NMTCB certification, and Epic charting proficiency.
Responsibilities- Work primarily in the Nuclear Cardiology department with cross coverage at an additional site
- Patient assignment is 1:1
- Shifts are 5x8, Monday through Friday, with flexible start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM or 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM
- No weekends or on-call required
- Epic EMR experience is required
- Floating to multiple designated locations as needed
- May be required to cover up to two sites within the system
- All required modules must be completed before starting and may take up to 10 hours
- May float between designated units based on staffing needs
- Return staff are eligible after 1 year
- Time off requests must be included during consideration
- Professional dress code or scrubs per unit policy
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current BLS certification
- ARRT (R)(N) or NMTCB required
- Epic charting experience required
- NY license required if applicable
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
- First time travelers are accepted
