- Assist surgeons during cardiac procedures by preparing instruments and equipment.
- Maintain a sterile environment to ensure patient safety during surgeries.
- Monitor patient vitals and report any changes to the surgical team.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of the operating room before and after procedures.
- Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks.
- Assist in inventory management of surgical supplies and equipment.
- Engage in performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Support the training of new surgical techs and interns.
- Stay updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Experience in assisting during cardiac surgeries in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and maintaining a safe surgical environment.
- Ability to monitor and report patient vitals effectively during procedures.
